The word protein is derived from the Greek word Proteios, meaning Primary, alluding to its great importance to our diet. Protein is essential to practically every part of the body, from hair and skin to muscle and tissue.
Whey protein is popular among individuals who have specific fitness goals, like athletes and bodybuilders. Among its benefits, whey protein has a fast absorption rate, which means that not only does it help build muscle, but it also helps repair muscle immediately after a workout. Whey is a complete protein, providing all the nine essential amino acids necessary for our bodies.

My Thoughts:
For the past two weeks I've I mixed this up for my boyfriend with cold water in a shaker bottle designed for protein drinks before left for his 20 mile bike and run workouts. He found that this whey protein which is designed to help build and repair muscles tastes very much like the protein drinks that he would get at the popular health clubs and gyms that he went to in California. He like it so much that I had to try it. So for some extra protein in my yogurt smoothie I added a half scoop along with my peanut butter powder. The combination was delicious. I found that it also mixed in easily in to both water and yogurt. I believe that the attention to the quality of ingredients is what makes it one of the best protein mixes available on the market.
