It has an extremely smooth action upon retrieval. The drag setting is fast to adjust. This KastKing BlackHawk Telescopic Fishing Rod has a nice full sized grip and is extremely strong and for bringing in all sizes of fish. Its balance makes it a great caster. I found that the KastKing RXA 60 Round Baitcasting Reel that I love paired very well with this rod and made an excellent setup.
I have several of KastKing's Lines and enjoy using them because the quality is always exceptional. Living just outside of Charleston, SC we do a lot of saltwater fishing and this line with its abrasion resistance is great for our rigs. The quality of your line can mean the difference between a successful day of fishing or a disappointing and frustrating one especially when you are fishing the jagged rocks of the jetties. This line is up to the task and I am looking forward to many days of fishing with it.
